The Down-and-Dirty Paintless Journal (6-Hour)

 Date: Wednesday, May 30
Time: 9:00am-4:00pm
Using an old book as a base, we will construct our own “mash” journal. We will personalize our journals with spare bits of papers, overlapping to create a visual feast ready for fodder and doodles. We’ll discuss how to incorporate everyday items as embellishments for pages. Bring photocopies of family pictures (b&w) to make your book your own. We’ll focus on doodling, writing, and collage. No paint allowed in this class—just some down-and-dirty art journaling with scraps, pens, markers, and adhesives!

 Doodle Soup: Jambalaya (3-Hour)

 Date: Wednesday, May 30
Time: 6:00pm-9:00pm
Craving some Doodle Soup? Everyone knows HOW to doodle. This class will get your doodling juices flowing! This time we’re going to spice it up a bit with some new doodle exercises mixed in with encore prompts.

Doodle Camp (6-Hour)

Date: Thursday, May 31
Time: 9:00am-4:00pm
This wildly popular online class is now live…a retreat within a retreat! Welcome to Doodle Camp, where we’ll make a tape-bound journal to fill with our doodles and memories. You’ll learn various background techniques to make your pages doodle-worthy and spend time filling up your journals with doodley juiciness. Don’t worry—we won’t go home without sitting around the campfire at least once!

Tie-Dyed Doodling (3-Hour)

 Date: Thursday, May 31
Time: 6:00pm-9:00pm
Join this technique-driven class using ordinary markers to create beautiful, watercolor-like backgrounds for your art journal pages. We’ll use these techniques to form our basis for our pages and over that play with some hardcore doodling and journaling.
