09.3.2010 From CREATE
Wish you had been there! If you were, wasn’t it FUN??
The Vendor Faire Friday night:
My set-up before the crowds descended...

I sold a lot that night! And met many wonderful peeps...
My first face-to-face, hands-on workshop I’ve EVER taught:

Come on in...Before students:

With students:

See that area beyond the tables? It was big enough to turn cartwheels in, which I threatened my students with for a while. :) I hope I made them as happy as they made me.
For some reason, I didn’t take any photos of the next day. It was Doodle Soup, loosely based on Doodle Diary. Wasn’t sure how it would go, but according to the evaluation forms the students filled out, it went REALLY well. Everyone seemed happy with the morning...It was a good last-day-of-the-retreat kind of class. We doodled, we laughed, and we doodled some more. An awesome way to wrap up CREATE.
Thanks to everyone who took my classes and chatted with me at my vendor table! You all ROCK!

excellent pictures! it looks like it was a load of fun for all!
Your FIRST face-to-face, hands-on workshop?! Are you kidding??? You did great! I never would have guessed that. I think you should plan to open up your schedule to more of these opportunities -- with celebratory cocktails afterwards to boot :)
Your class really helped me work beyond my comfort zone and I have been having a great time filling my Doodle Soup book! Speaking of which....roughly, what is the weight of the cover? I love the fact that it is sturdy but not solid. I want to make a checkbook sized one to toss in my purse. Thanks again, Dawn! You are awesome!!
This looks like it was a lot of fun. Wish I could have been there!
Thank you! The Passport to Journal was exactly something I feel will be a lot of fun and I've already started a second one! Make them up and take them with! We're headed to San Antonio next month (I've been there lots) but not with the travel journal!
