What an amazing give away!

I love the freedom of Art Journalling and Doodling. With most crafts I tend to feel like I need to be very "perfect" - it's nice to have a freer outlet.

Congrats again on your book!

Oh my I had to enter for this one, it's all stuff I really love!!!!

I love art journaling because it's a creative release! And I can do anything I want. Change styles and media with the season or on a whim!

WOW! What a giveaway! I love the freedom I feel when art journaling/doodling...there aren't any "shoulds" lingering in my mind. It's from this freedom to express that sometimes the greatest awakenings happen!

Ok random number generator. I know you love me, right?? :)

I have just recently gotten into art journaling and I am totally hooked! I absolutely love that I can experiment without the pressure of feeling like I have to create something perfect every time. It is just for me! I even taught a class on it at my local scrapbook store in Chandler. The gals loved it! Thanks for all your inspiration!

Doodling is one of my favorite activities! ;) Any surface! Souffle pens actually work really good on rocks. Hope I win!!! Awesome prizes :)

I love that I can do my own thing with my art. No one is around to tell me that it is wrong in any way. It can be anyway I want it to be!! :)

Hi Dawn,

I was in your Saturday class. I've been painting with acrylics for years and you inspired me with some fresh, new approaches. Cool!
I'm new to Art Journaling and the thing I like best is using visual expression to communicate. I've been journaling for years, but its all been text! With Art Journaling the paint colors alone make a statement before any collage or text are even added. And I like the challenge of adding old bits of scrap, photos, etc to create a cohesive thought.

Jennifer

I like art journaling because sometimes I have something I need to get out, but there just aren't words. Doodling and drawing in my journal helps me release whatever it is, get it out.

You have inspired me to start journaling again. This was a fun past-time in my youth. I am trying to get my daughter to do the same as she has just embarked on her Freshman year. What a great way to chronicle your High School experiences. I pulled out some old journals from my travels in my 20's, fun stuff. I can't wait to start doing this again. Thanks Dawn!

i like that i dont have to try to meet anyone's expectations. on hard days if i want a big ugly monster doodle in the center of my page, no one can say anything. im still working on muting my own internal critic but its nice to be free of the 'rules'.

Thank you for the chance :D

I love to doodle, because its starts out as me just doodling on a page and he morphs into this story or this picture, I love it.

THIS is a huge giveaway. So I'm glad I didn't won another one so I have a chance for this one (always see the positive) :D

I love Art Journaling because it frees my mind, allows me to just be myself, to discover new sides of my personality, and to heal.

I love art journaling because it gives me two ways (art and words) to document my life, express my emotions and sort out the troubling issues.

What I love most about art journaling and doodling - it brings a sense of tranquility even in the midst of the most aggravating and tumultuous day, I find calm. It allows me to reflect on feelings, attitudes and observations when I have more time. It allows me to think things through without feeling exposed. It is my therapy. It is my discovery. It is my playground. What more could you need in a constant companion?

I like the creative process of it (:

I love art journaling for the freedom and peace that it brings. It is so wonderful to be able to do art and not worry about having everything in the right place, the colors matching on the color wheel or the feeling of offending anyone. As for doodling I love it for the same reason I just need to learn to let go and allow myself to mess up or get it right. :)

Oh no, I forgot my comment about art journaling- I love it because it means FREEDOM. Artistic freedom, freedom of expression, freedom to experiment. So sorry for the dupe comments, but wanted to add my response to the question!

I LOVE doodling! It allows me to be creative at work & being creative keeps the stress levels low! Just starting out with the AJ'ing so we'll see how that goes. :o)
Thanks for the great giveaways this month! You're awesome!

I love dcodling and art journalling because it opens up my creativity to other projects. Thanks once again to win one of your fun giveaways! :)

Great giveaway! I love doodling during school... as bad as that is. It gives me a break from listening to lectures. I try to doodle things that go along with the notes, but that doesn't always work! :) Art journaling is great too because it is like my little escape from what is going on in life at the moment and is a way for me to explore and vent creatively.

08.31 | Unregistered CommenterPeggy

I love art journaling because there are no rules. It is very meditative and I can do it practically anywhere.

OOH! Great giveaway! I love art journalling because it allows me to express things that sometimes I cannot or rather not say!
